This sequence of photographs was made in the space where Arthur Hsu lived. He occasionally stares into this space and rests his eyes in a daydream. Perhaps Arthur has filled the gap, perhaps it looks like a gathering point with 90 degrees in the space. However, to recognise a space, people use shades to visually sense the shape and also follow their own experience and imagination to define the shape or space. Examined closeup, the texture or the geometry shapes may give you the answer of the photographs, yet what Arthur have done was explore the relationship between the space and what he saw visually.
